Fire Prevention Month was a Great Success

October was National Fire Prevention Month. Station 28 was busy with many details and events. Fire prevention week was succesful with many events informing children and adults of the danger of fire and the importance of fire prevention. Station 28 also held it's annual open house which was a great success as wll with lots of people from the neighborhood coming down and seeing what the company has to offer. Ottsville Cover Assignment

Station 28 was requested to do a cover at Station 49- Ottsvile Volunteer Fire Company on Friday October 3rd for their open house. 


Successful Training

The company held a training on 10/19/14 at the Bensalem Township Training Center. They worked on some Haz-Mat situations and advancing hose lines.

Quint 28 Back in Service

Quint 28 is back in service.



The Eddington Fire Company would like to congratulate Ryan Frye and Shane McFadden on the successful completion of Firefighter 1.


Engine Company Operations Class

The Eddington Fire Company will be hosting an Engine Company Operation class taught by the very knowledgeable instructors from Traditions Training. The class will be held on Saturday and Sunday May 3rd & 4th from 0800 to 1700 at the Bensalem Township Public Safety Training Center located just off Route 1. 

The cost of the class will be $250, payable to the Eddington Fire Company Relief Association and includes breakfast and lunch on both days. For more information please contact Jeff Rastetter at battalionchief@eddingtonfireco.org.
